- Start. Shortly before arriving at the village of Orellán on the road from Carucedo there is a diversion to the left from which, some 100 metres from the crossroads, a small, steep track leads to the Orellán metalworking settlement just 200 metres away. It is advisable to leave your car at the start of the track and make your way to the settlement on foot.
You can also get here from the road between La Chana and Orellán. In this case the track leads from the left, immediately after the crossroads with the Carucedo to Orellán road.
- The Orellán metalworking settlement. This is a village that was founded in the first century AD in the Roman era and settled by indigenous peoples with the main purpose of reducing iron ore and casting tools and implements. The settlement is a good example of the survival of the indigenous world and of Roman innovation.
